Data processing regarding this website

When you visit our website, no data processing takes place. We do not offer any contact forms, registration facilities, newsletters or the like. We do not use cookies, we do not perform tracking, we do not store log files, thus, we cannot perform analyses.

In other words: your visit to our website is always completely anonymous.

All data protection issues relating to our clients are dealt with directly with the affected clients.

If you contact us as a new client, we assume that you consent to the storage and processing of the data transmitted to us in order to potentially enter into a business relationship with us. Your data will be stored in accordance with the legal retention periods.

All data protection issues regarding our employees are regulated within our company.

Data processing regarding professional providers of translation services

If you contact us as a professional provider of translation services, we assume that you consent to the storage and processing of the data transmitted to us in order to potentially enter into a business relationship with us. In the case we are interested in your offer, we will store your data indefinitely, in order to be able to take you up on your offer, if deemed necessary. Otherwise, your data will be deleted immediately without notification. Should you request your data to either be corrected or deleted, you may inform us of this at any time. We will accommodate your request, provided that there are no legal data retainment obligations or legitimate interests that we have to adhere to (e.g. establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims).

Data processing regarding job applicants for a full-time position

If you contact us to apply for a full-time position, we assume that you consent to the storage and processing of your data. We will store exactly the data that you voluntarily provide us with in your application.

If your application is unsolicited (i. e. not based on a specific job advertisement) and your profile does not correspond to our criteria, your data will be deleted immediately and without informing you. If we take interest in your application, we will proceed with our application process. In the case we hire you, your application documents will become part of your personnel file. If we do not hire you, we will delete your application documents within 6 months after a refusal by you or us, provided that there are no legitimate interests that we have to adhere to (e. g. establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims).

In the case of an application related to a specific job advertisement, we will proceed with our application process. If we hire you, your application documents will become part of your personnel file. If we don’t hire you, we will delete your application documents within 6 months after a refusal by you or us, provided that there are no legitimate interests that we have to adhere to (e. g. establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims).

Furthermore, you have the right to access your stored data free of charges at any time according to the applicable statutory provisions and, if applicable, a right to rectification, restriction of processing and deletion of this data.

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you shall have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state in which you live, in which you work or at the place where the alleged infringement has occurred if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.

The supervisory authority to which the complaint was submitted shall inform the applicant of the status and results of the complaint, including the possibility of a judicial remedy under Article 78 GDPR.
